What we do

Four kinds
of work.

A website that needs to explain a business properly. An application that has to fit how a team already works. A healthcare system that needs to talk to another one. And, increasingly, AI that has to do something useful rather than just be there.

Websites &
digital presence

Business websites and online stores, usually built in WordPress. We also handle the parts that decide whether a site works at all: how it is structured, how fast it loads, and whether search engines can make sense of it.

Website & digital services

Applications &
integrations

Custom web and mobile applications, customer portals and dashboards. More often than not the real work is connecting something new to software a business already depends on.

AI on your
website

Assistants that answer customer questions from your own content, content structured so AI search can cite you, and enquiry forms that collect what you need before you quote.

AI consulting

HealthTech &
FHIR systems

FHIR API strategy, SMART on FHIR planning and middleware for healthcare products. The question is usually how a new application can exchange data with systems that are already in place.

How a project runs

01 / Discover

Work out what the real problem is.

Work out who it is for, what it has to do, and what it has to work alongside. Agree the scope before anything gets designed.

About us

A small studio
with a wide range.

Since 2017 we have worked with businesses that sell aviation parts, process immigration applications, treat water, pour concrete and print in three dimensions. We work with them from British Columbia, and with clients across Canada and overseas.

That range is deliberate. The questions worth asking are much the same whether the answer is a new website, a recovered one, or software that connects to a system already in place.

Have a question about your project?Talk it through with us
How much does a custom website cost?

Custom websites at AgileGist start from approximately $1,200 CAD, and the final price depends on your requirements. The number of pages, design complexity, and features such as booking, ecommerce, or CRM integrations all affect the cost. We give a fixed, written quote after a free consultation, so you know the full price before any work begins.

How much does it cost to build a web or mobile app?

Custom web and mobile apps at AgileGist start from approximately $1,200 CAD, and the final price depends on your requirements. Features, user roles, platforms (web, iOS, Android), and third-party integrations all affect the budget. Healthcare apps that need FHIR integration or HIPAA safeguards require extra security work. We provide a quote for each phase after a free consultation.

How long does a project take?

Most business websites take 4–8 weeks, and custom apps usually take 3–6 months for a first release. Timelines depend on the project scope and how quickly content and feedback are provided. We share a schedule with clear milestones before the project starts.

Can you improve or take over an existing website?

Yes. We regularly redesign, fix, speed up, and secure existing websites, including WordPress sites built by other developers. We start with a review of your current site and recommend whether to improve it or rebuild it, based on what will cost you less over time.

Will I own my website and app code?

Yes. Once the project is paid in full, you own your website, content, design files, and custom code. We also make sure your domain and hosting accounts are in your name, so you are never locked in to us.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. We offer monthly support plans that cover updates, security monitoring, backups, bug fixes, and small content changes. Websites and apps need regular maintenance to stay secure and working well, especially after browser and operating system updates.
